Joseph Inserro

i haven't seen a picture of Joey in years.  He lived a block away from me and saved me one night from a thunderstorm when I was in grade school and terrified. He was so sweet and funny and I think of him often.

I still have dreams about Joey.  The location and the activity change from dream to dream but the storyline is always the same.  It goes like this.  Someone comes up behind me and gets me in a bear hug, lifting me off the ground.  When he puts me down I turn around and it’s Joey.  I say to him, “I thought you were dead”.  He then laughs loudly and says, “Naw, I was just kidding”.  Then we go off and do something.  When I wake up, I wake up happy.   That was Joey.  He was always kidding, and he was really good at it.  He was so full of life that it was just fun to be around him.

What can I say, Joey was a super person and a great friend loved everyone and eveyone loved him. He was extremely talented in gymnastics and seemed like was always out for a good time, funny, polite and caring person. Definately taken way too soon, the world I'm sure misses him and I know I sure do. I'll never forget all the rock concerts we went to. RIP my friend
