Edward Matejka
Beginning when I was 7 years old, Eddie Mo was my oldest childhood friend, just 3 houses away near Sunnyside and Bartlett. I will never forget Eddie's smiling face, and all the time playing sports together as kids and through high school. Eddie was a good-natured fellow who passed away way too young.
tribute by Mike PelusoEd was a great guy, always liked hanging around with him (and his eye) in grade school and high school. I had hoped to run into him again some day, I'm sorry that won't happen.
tribute by Tom PetersonI remember Ed from our grade school days. He was Huck Finn in our play. He did a great job and he was a very nice guy.
tribute by Charlene Beattie PaciniI can't remember ever seeing "Eddie Mo" without him having a huge smile on his face. One of the first new guys I met in high school because his locker was so close to mine. Even years later when I would run into him on occasion, he had the big grin, still planted on his face. A good defensive catcher on the baseball team. And just a good guy all around.
