Paula was one of the nicest girls in high school.  I remember taking her to the homecoming dance Freshman year - and having to sit and visit with her father (who was president of the school board at the time) - before he allowed her to leave with me.  I always joked with her that I must have passed the "Eddie Haskell" test.  We remained friends all through school.  I will always remember Paula's infectious smile that was ever present.
